I didn’t really cramp often before my second daughter, but now I feel like it happens way more often. I’m not sure why that is.
I am just grateful that it does not have me curled up in a ball like some other women.
I have been researching and trying some holistic approaches to getting rid of my mild cramps and bloating as well.
One thing that I have been doing lately is drinking Peppermint Tea. Peppermint tea may help with period cramps, bloating, and other digestive issues. I have been sipping on a big protein shaker cup full of it atleast twice a day since my period started and it actually has decreased some bloating and helped a little with cramping. It has not made those symptoms completely go away, but I do feel a difference, which is good enough for me.
Peppermint tea is also said to help you curb cravings and help freshen your breath naturally.
